Lara Allison, Lecturer in Art History, Theory, and Criticism at The School of the Art Institute of Chicago, examines the relationship between Abstract Expressionism, European modernism, and Pop Art in Walter Paepcke’s The Great Ideas of Western Manadvertising campaign, founded in 1950.
