Art Design Chicago was a spirited celebration of the unique and vital role Chicago plays as America’s crossroads of creativity and commerce. Initiated by the Terra Foundation for American Art, this citywide partnership of 95+ cultural organizations examined Chicago’s art and design legacy through exhibitions, public programs, special events, and tours throughout 2018, as well as several new publications, resulting in the first large-scale exploration of the topic to date.
